How dare you Flight Centre, how dare you.

How dare you expect a customer to actually go into one of your stores.

Or even have to go to the effort of picking up a telephone and call one of your stores.

You should know better than that.

Why don’t you have packs of sales agents roaming the internet?

Shame, Flight Centre, Shame.

Here we have another example of our anna complaining for the sake of complaining.

Our anna finds a price for a flight online. A price that our destitute anna can’t afford, being  a full time high school science teacher on a single parent pension.

But then our anna remembered that Flight Centre has a Lowest Airfare Guarantee.

^Airfares change regularly and each fare has specific terms and conditions set by the airline such as refund and cancellation rules which affect the price. Occasionally, a fare comes out that is lower than the one offered to you. Should you find a lower price offered by a competitor, we will beat it. Restrictions and conditions apply. This guarantee is based on Australian registered businesses and websites for travel departing from Australia. But to use this would require our anna traveling roughly six Kilometres to the nearest store.

Six Kilometres! That’s twelve Kilometres if she comes back as well.

Heck. That would almost cost $1:50 in fuel (if our anna uses Premium fuel).

Or $7,950 if you include the cost of our anna’s time for leaving her house.

Just kidding. Our anna thinks her time is worth more than that.

But if anna had bothered to ‘ask us for further details‘ instead of getting on facebook to complain she would have learnt of the Electronic Customer Acceptance that Flight Centre offers.

But instead of acknowledging that she could have checked, our anna wants the ACCC to investigate the terms and conditions of the Lowest Airfare Guarantee. The ones listed on the website. The ones on their website that our anna apears not to have read.
